Weekly UPDATE <br />Administrator's Report <br />Council Update <br />2024 Parks and Recreation Events <br />September 13, 2024 <br />Thanks to everyone who joined us last Saturday to wrap <br />up summer with another fantastic Happy Days festival! <br />FALL EQUINOX <br />STARWATCH P <br />Friday, <br />September 20 <br />7:30-9:30 p.m. <br />Elmcrest Park <br />Ramsey <br />r; sEY PARKS & RECREATION <br />As fall approaches, Parks and Recreation has plenty <br />planned for the season. Join us on Friday, September 20, <br />for a Fall Starwatch Party to explore the night sky with <br />two of Minnesota's largest mobile telescopes. Mike Lynch, <br />a retired WCCO Radio meteorologist with over 50 <br />years of astronomy experience, will guide us through the <br />constellations, the moon, planets and distant galaxies. <br />For more information about Parks and Recreation Events, <br />visit www.cityoframsey.com/ParkEvents. <br />Fall Recycling Day Event <br />The Fall Recycling Day will be on Saturday, September 28, <br />from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Public Works <br />Facility, 14199 Jasper Street NW. This is an opportunity for <br />residents to properly dispose of several materials that are not <br />accepted through the curbside recycling program, including <br />appliances, electronics, tires, fluorescent bulbs, batteries, oil, <br />oil filters, antifreeze, mattresses, box springs, bicycles and scrap <br />metal. The standard curbside materials (examples: cardboard, <br />aluminum, steel and tin cans, newspaper, plastic bottles, <br />tubs and lids one gallon or less in size, glass jars and bottles) <br />will also be accepted. Finally, residents can take advantage of <br />FREE paper shredding at the Fall Recycling Day (limited to <br />no more than three boxes of documents; the shredded paper <br />does get recycled).
