8. 3. <br />CC Regular Session New <br />Meeting Date: <br />09/24/2024 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Promote economic growth and development. <br />Title: <br />Adopt Ordinance #24-11 Authorizing the City of Ramsey to Sell Fourteen (14) Parcels of Real Property <br />Purpose/Background: <br />As required by the City Charter, the City must pass an ordinance to declare and sell surplus City owned land. The purpose of this case is to introduce an ordinance to sell property owned by the City, held for the Right -of -Way Acquisition Loan Fund (RALF), <br />as surplus City owned land, no longer needed for current or future City functions or Right of Way for the Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Project, The total number of parcels available for sale is fourteen (14). These parcels will be marketed/sold after <br />completion of the Ramsey Gateway Hwy 10 Project or authorization by the RALF program. <br />Notification: <br />The draft Ordinance will be posted at City Hall from September 10th- September 25th and published in the Anoka Union Herald Newspaper on September 27th, if adopted. <br />Time Frame/Observations/Alternatives: <br />City Charter requires the City Council to introduce and ultimately adopt the attached Ordinance #24-11 authorizing the City of Ramsey to sell/convey fourteen (14) parcels of real property. This ordinance was introduced at the <br />September 10, 2024 City Council Meeting but formal adoption of the ordinance is required at this meeting per the City Charter. <br />Alternatives to consider: <br />1. Approval of the ordinance as presented by staff. <br />2. Make modifications to the ordinance. <br />3.
