I feel thatthe Public Works Superintendent has given you an excellent option and the Council should adopt his recommendation. When the City builds another warming house we can put in a drinking fountain then. With the development of the Central Park system on the Federal Cartridge property, this won't be too far in the future. Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the Public Works Superintendent's suggestion and make your decision. LThe:'.following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your consideration: Motion by and seconded by to approve/disapprove of the Public Works Superintendent's recommendation which is to in- stall a five gallon insulated cooler with a paper cup dispenser and that the City will provide paper cups for this dispenser. Council tabled action on this until March 22, 1983 due to the fact -that not all Councilmernbers were present. Exhibit #2 contains the amendments to that proposed ordinance which you will be reviewing at your special meeting on March 21, 1983. Council Action: ordinance. Voting yes Voting no CASE #5: ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #83-1: Council, at the February 22, 1983 meeting, heard the public hearing on this case but tabled action until March 22, 1983 when all Councilmernbers would be present. Please refer to your previous agenda of February 22, 1983 for documents pertaining to this case. Also, please refer to enclosure (A-l) and (A-3) of this agenda,and enclosure (D3-e)'. for City Attorney's memo. Council will also have to set the date they want to call for bids but we should get it resolved with the City Attorney and City Engineer as to how they are coming along acquiring easements on this project so we don't get into an administrative bind on the issue. Council Action: Your action will be to either deny the project or adopt the proposed resolution ordering improvement and the preparation of plans and specifications and call for bids.
