<br />a) Ramsey has acted as a "host" conununity for <br />regional disposal sites for the last 2S <br />years, and if Site Up" becomes a reality, <br />Ramsey will have a disposal site in its com- <br />munity for at least another 2S years. <br /> <br />------~ <br />. ---- -,. <br /> <br />b) Ramsey has done its share in "hosting" waste <br />disposal facilities and it is now time that <br />other communities and localities "host" such <br />facilities and accept the responsibility which <br />Ramsey has. <br /> <br />c) Ramsey is not served by either sanitary sewer <br />or municipal water facilities. <br /> <br />d) Ramsey and the proposed disposal facility are <br />in close proximity to both the Rum and Mississippi <br />Rivers. <br /> <br />2) To direct staff to forward this resolution to all appropriate <br />agencies in order that Ramsey's position on this subject be known. <br /> <br />The motion for the <br />Councilmember <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br /> <br />(-) <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 22nd day of March, 1983. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator/Clerk <br />
