He is recommending that we purchase one from Mr. Jon James for $1,000.00. It is definitely an item we should have for making repairs to our streets. Council Action: purchase of the posed motion is Your action will be to approve/disapprove of above piece of used equipment. Voting yes Voting no c) Authorization to Declare 1971 Dodge.Dump Truck and Plow surplus Equipment - It is requested that the Council declare the above stated equipment surplus. Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the above request. The following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your consideration: Motion by and seconded by to declare the following pieces of City equipment as surplus property: a) 1971 Dodge 2~ ton dump truck with steel dump box b) One way plow for above truck with mounting carriage It is further directed that an ad be placed in the official newspaper and the Minnesota League of Cities publication advertising the above equipment is for sale. Voting yes Voting no d) Authorization to Call for Bids to Purchase 21, Ton Truck, Dump Box, Plow and Sander - The 1983 budget provides for the purchase of a 2~ ton truck, steel dump box, snow plow and wing, and a 'sander. This proposed piece of equipment will replace the 1967 International truck which would be sold. Bid specifications will be available at the meeting. The funds for the purchase of this piece of equipment have been provided for in the Equipment Revolving Fund. Council Action: Your action will be to review said bid specifica- tion and approve/disapprove/amend bid specifications.. Further, if you approve, we will have to authorize to call for bids on said piece of equipment.
