PROPOSED CHANNEL ALUX:ATI<X' CW;N:;ES
Page 3

QlANNEL #24 -

PropOsed: Reserved for WFBT

charige: No real change proposed. Simply want to state that the station has
gotten on the air and is called WFBT.

QlANNEL #25

I
I
I
.1

Proposed: Quad Cities Health Channel

Change:

Quad Cities Health Channel to the Cable Health network.

This channel assignrren.ts will basically remain the sarre. However, I
would like to point that the Cable Health Network insists it is called
that and that their logo be used in advertising and prarotional rraterial.
(24 hour service).

Reason:

QlANNEL #26

Proposed: Hare Theater Network/The Weather Channel

Change:

Move the Weather Channel to replace Color Weather Radar. Have Hare
Theater Network Plus.

There must have been a mistake when the proposal was originally written.
I have never seen or experienced a caIDination of a 24-hour, advertiser~
supported service with any other service, much less a pay T.V. option.
Due to the Weather Channel's ccrnni tnents to their advertisers I don' t
believe they would allow us to share channel usage. As stated, GroUP
W would like to replace Color Radar with the Weather Channel.

Reason:

Hare Theater Network as it was proposed is no longer available. It was
proposed as a mini-pay service ie, one novie per night. HTN has n=
becorre HTN plus. It still shows only "G" + "PG" rated novies, h=ever,
it is n= on 12 hours per day. It was changed in the ordinance to HTN+
and will sell for $6.95 per nonth. This is the pay option to the mini-
basic subscriber.

Q{A..>mEL #27

Proposed :

]\ITerican Educational Television Network/Appalachion ernmunity service
Network

Change:

AEl'N/ACSN to ACSN

These two services W3re in cc:xnPetition with each other and alnost
bankrupted together. Since the proposal, the two services have
werged under the ACSN trademrrk. prograrnning remains the sarre.

Reason:
