<br />RLPORT OF SUFFICIENCY <br /> <br />W nl'lf/ <br /> <br />Petition to Subject Ordinance #87-7 to a Referendum <br /> <br />1) On November 12, 1987 a petition to subject Ordinance #87-7 to a referendum <br />~as filed in the office of the City Administrator. <br /> <br />2) On November 23. 1987 the City Administrator presented a report on the <br />sufficiency of the petition to the City Council and the City Council <br />adopted Resolution #87-265 ~hich found the petition insufficient. <br /> <br />3) On November 24, 1987 Resolution #87-265, along ~ith copies of the original <br />petition, were delivered to the sponsors of said petition. <br /> <br />4) On December 18, 1987 additional signatures ~ere presented to the City <br />Administrator consisting of Pages 10-1 through 21-4. <br /> <br />5) On December 28 and 29, 1987 ten. (l0) pages of signatures following the <br />statement "1 withdraw my signature which appears in the petition regarding <br />Ordinance #87-7 (Gate~ay North Industrial Airport Zoning Ordinance) being <br />brought to a referendum ballot" ~ere received in the office of the City <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />6) On December 29. 1987 t~O (2) pages of signatures follo~ing the statement "1 <br />request that my signature ~hich appears on a petition regarding Ordinance <br />f,87-7 (Gateway North Industrial Airport Zoning Ordinance) remain on that <br />petition as originally intended" were received in the office of the City <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />7) Tbe results of the petitions. ".ithdra~als. and counter ~ithdrawals are: <br /> <br />590 signatures of registered voters <br /> <br />163 signatures of persons whose address is in Ramsey but ere not <br />registered to vote <br /> <br />5 signatures of persons purporting to be t~o people (e.g., Mr. and <br />Mrs. ) <br /> <br />3 signatures of persons ~hose address is not a City of Ramsey <br />address <br /> <br />2 signatures ~bich lack a :irst name <br /> <br />51 signatures vbicb ~ere =e~oved <br /> <br />15 signatures wbich were removed and later replaced (registered) <br /> <br />2 signatures which ~ere removed and later replaced (not registered) <br /> <br />S) Witb tbe requirement of 548 signatures for sufficiency. it would appear <br />tbat tbe petition bas a sufficient number of sign.tures. <br /> <br />6 duplicate signatures <br /> <br />" <br />
