<br />ORDINANCE ~88-__ <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 170. known as the Planning, Subdivision and Signs <br />Chapter of the Ramsey City code. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 170.063 of the City Code. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. <br /> <br />Section 170.063 of the Ramsey City Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />170.063 CASH PAYMENT <br /> <br />In lieu of public land dedication for the purposes of parks, <br />playgrounds, trails and/or open space as above described, the City <br />Council may require the subdivider to contribute ten percent (10%) of <br />the fa,ir market value of the undeveloped land which value is to be <br />determined no' later than final plat approval or Five Hundred Dollars <br />($500.00) perl dwelling unit created, whichever amount is greater. The <br />cash payments, received as a result of this provision shall be placed <br />in a special fund by the City and used only for acquisition of land <br />for parks, pl'aygrounds, public open space, trails and storm water <br />holding areas' or ponds. development of existing parks and playground <br />sites, publici open spaces and storm water holding areas or ponds and <br />debt retirement in connection with land previously acquired for such <br />public purpos'es. <br />I <br />SECTION 2.
