HIllllESOTA t RESOLUTIOll 110. 84- WHEREAS, the City Council on February 28, 1984 adopted Ordinance 84-2 which . , was an amendment to the City's Sewage Disposal Systems Chapter of the City Code, Chapter 150.01; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance 84-2 requires that the City implement certain actions to insure that individual on site septic systems are maintained; and WHEREAS, City Staff by memo presented to the City Council, dated March.2l, 1984 presented the City Council with three (3) possible implementation alternatives; and ---_.-~---~ .....~.~_L_ ~.. ...~.]...i1EREAS ,a/ma".c1..:.:f~rit.,y,.'6~ ..tJ1.'~ ".3 .'H~Y\9.9:sm. WHEREAS, the Council has thoroughly discussed this issue at numerous Council meetings; and WHEREAS, it is vital to the health and welfare of the residents of the City of Ramsey that said Ordinance 84-2 not be ignored and that its sections relating to on site septic system maintenance be reasonably implemented by the City. flOW. THEREFORH. BE IT RESOLVED by the Ramsey City Council as follows: 1. That Ordinance 84-2 be implemented and enforced by requiring that the following items be accomplished: a. Licensed pumpers shall get a permit from City Hall prior to pumping. This should be made public so that individuals calling a pumper will know to ask for the permit for verification and as part of the record process. b. A list of licensed pumpers shall be made available to the residents at the City Hall.
