<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, November 15, <br />1983 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmernber Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />City Accountant Jeanne Moen <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the special Council meeting to order at 7:31 p.m. and led <br />in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Gene Chancellor - 6746 137th Avenue - Stated that he has received a letter <br />from the Public Works Department indicating that he does have a fence in the <br />Ci ty right-of-way. Mr. Chancellor stated that the fence has not been a problem <br />in the last 5 years with regards to snowplowing, etc. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed Mr. Chancellor that the City will not force him to move the <br />fence, that Mr. Chancellor has been made aware of the problem and the City will <br />not be responsible for any damages to the fence. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Dick Carson and Rick Foster requested some feedback from Council regarding <br />Flintwood II PUD. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed Mr. Carson and Mr. Foster that Council could not take any <br />action at tonight's meeting but that Council would view the Flintwood II sketch <br />plan and make comments during Citizen Input. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Carson stated that the PUD will be a heavy density -- 350 in the 50 acres <br />to be developed as quads, singles and 8 units. Mr. Carson stated that the <br />Chapmans and Tronsons are congenial to the idea of granting an easement across <br />their land and if not, there is a second approach available. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Foster <br />the roads <br />are three <br />stories. <br /> <br />stated that the plotting will be done in phases and a majority of <br />will be constructed during the first phase. He alEo noted that there <br />commercial sites planned in the PUD.
