I I I I TO: Planning and Zoning Commissionmembers FROM: City Administrator I RE: Administrator's Report for November 1983 I I 1) Council Action on Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting of November I, 1983 - The City Council took the following action on the cases submitted to them: a) Request for a conditional use permit; case of Grace Community Church _ Council approved of this request. I b) Request for a variance to subdivide by metes and bounds; case of Mr. Henry Birchem - Council approved of this request. I c) Preliminary development plan review for NDH, Inc. Planned Unit Development (PUD) - NDH, Inc. made their presentation to Council. There were quite a few citizens present who questioned this project. The objections from the citizens were the same as what you received at your public hearing on November 29, 1983. It should be noted that the Council will also be conducting a public hearing on this case in January. The City Attorney states that Council has to conduct it according to our ordinance. I I 2) Environmental Protection Ordinance - The City Engineer was directed by the Council at their November 22, 1983 meeting to work with the DNR to bring our Environmental Protection Ordinance in compliance with DNR regulations. Accordingly, the City Engineer will be coming before you with the first phase of this project. I I I 3) Ordinance 150.01 - We will be making a report to the Council in December 1983 in regards to complying with the above ordinance which could be a real problem. 4) Council Meeting Date for December 1983 - Council changed their meeting date in December from the 27th to the 20th of December.
