Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Zimmerman, <br />Shumway, Deemer and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner <br />LaDue. <br />Mr. Knudson was present. <br />Commission consensus is that Mr. Knudson should proceed to the preliminary plat <br />stage with an east /west plat configuration and extending 152nd through the <br />plat; commission is agreeable to granting sufficient variances to allow for 6, <br />rather than 5, lots in the plat if the developer provides for extending 152nd <br />through the plat. <br />WTiTWE ;-,1. 4L. . 1.1 •1. 10- i 7!1.. a. :,1L" ! .1_I.. .! Y. ?- •/_ <br />J �•Ir. • ti <br />Mr. Ness was present and stated that he is requesting approval to operate a <br />home occupation in order to store his business equipment and materials at his <br />residence; the business does not create additional traffic to the neighborhood. <br />Calmission reviewed the findings of fact. Commissioner Deemer referred to Item <br />5.d in the findings of fact standards for consideration (That there are similar <br />uses in the City of Ramsey) , and stated that he knows of no other legal similar <br />uses in Ramsey; there are similar non - conforming uses but non - conforming uses <br />should not be classified as a standard for consideration. <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer to delete item #5.d from the proposed findings of <br />fact in the case of Mr. Donald Ness. <br />Further Discussion: Chairman Peterson stated that ordinance requires that the <br />subject of similar uses be addressed. <br />August 12 1985 <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />
