Mr. Otto stated that tax increment f inancing is possible. We want to make <br />maximim use of funds available. We may be eligible for AIP funds for land <br />acquisition, roadway relocation, site preparation and anything open to the <br />public. Revenue producing space is not eligible. There the State <br />participates. <br />Chairman Ippel stated that before you can look at planning and zoning, <br />financing and land acquisition, you have to have a plan. <br />Mr. Dargis asked if any rezoning will be necessary. <br />Mr. Otto stated that the only rezonings would be land use safety zoning and <br />height limitation zoning. <br />Height restrictions were briefly discussed. <br />Mr. Dargis questioned the number of persons who owned the airport and the <br />number of hones it would affect. <br />Mr. Greenberg explained that the airport is owned by the Industrial Park which <br />consists of approximately 25+ persons. <br />Mr. Otto stated that the airport plan affects 14 homes, a restaurant <br />(McGregors) and a oonvenience store (Tan 7hunb). <br />Mr. Greenberg left the meeting at 8 :50 p.m. <br />Mr. Seibert arrived at 8:50 p.m. <br />Q99AZ: Grow W Cable Television <br />Chairman Ippel stated that Group W has asked to cover the public hearing on <br />their government access channel. <br />Commission consensus is to allow Group W to cover the airport public hearing <br />live on the government access channel on August 21, 1985. <br />Case #3: late on Archite ural Stnd ;n9 Done by the Universityof <br />Chairman Ippel stated that in regards to the computer simulation project that <br />the U of M is doing, video taping needed was done at the airport on July 16, <br />1985.
