Graczvk <br />1300 Pierce Terrace NE <br />Columbia Heights, MN 55421 <br />RE: Appointment to Chief Accountant position <br />Dear Mr. Graczyk: <br />Mr. Lloyd Schnelle, City Administrator, stated that we had not informed <br />you by letter of the Ramsey City Council action on July 29, 1985 to select <br />you for the position of Chief Accountant. The following salary step program <br />was approved by the Council for this position: <br />1st six months <br />$29,000 <br />69.9% of Metro mean <br />2nd six months <br />$30,235 <br />72.9% of Metro mean <br />3rd six months <br />$31,478* <br />75.9% of Metro mean <br />4th six months <br />$32,723* <br />78.9% of Metro mean <br />5th six months <br />$33,967* <br />81.9% of Metro mean <br />Third year <br />$35,235* <br />85.0% of Metro mean <br />* increased by cost of living percentage for the current year <br />It is my understanding that you will commence employment with the City <br />of Ramsey on August 19, 1985 at the above stated salary step program. <br />Further, the City does have a six (6) month probationary period which applies <br />to all newly hired City employees. <br />The changing of the Chief Accountant position title to the title of Finance <br />Officer will be taken before the Ramsey City Council for their action. We <br />will authorize the City's auditor to perform a cash count effective at the <br />close of the working day on August 16, 1985. <br />It was a real pleasure meeting with you on Monday afternoon and I look forward <br />to working with you.
