1 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: ' RESOLUTION #85- RESOLUTION DECLARING COST 70 BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION ' OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (156th Avenue N.W. #85 -8) WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined for the sealcoating improvement of the following ' streets: 1) 156th Avenue N.W. between Variolite Street ' N.W. and Armstrong Blvd. N.W. (County Road #83) and the contract price for such improvement is $ and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $ so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ . NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: ' 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $ 2) That the City Administrator /Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer of Hakanson Anderson Associates, ' Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to ' cash valuation, as provided by law and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspectin. 3) The City Administrator /Clerk shall upon the ' completion of such proposed assessment, notify the City Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: ' and the following voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared duly. passed and adopted by ' the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of August, 1985.
