Mr. Newcomb's lot is approximately 1.5 acres and is located in an R -1, Residential District. The City Code states that accessory structures on parcels of less than 2 -1/2 acres shall be no larger than 624 square feet. The City Code also requires that detached accessory structures be constructed in the side or rear yards.
