doesn't believe the docunentation before Oouncil this evening provides for <br />that. <br />Mayor Heitman withdrew his motion and Councilmember Cox withdrew his second to <br />the motion. <br />Motion by councilmenber Cox and seconded bf Mayor Heitman directing City Staff <br />to develop a resolution stating Ramsey's desire that no government body, at the <br />County or State level, do anything to encourage expansion of the present <br />landfill or development of Site P. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Co:mcUmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reiman and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br />Council noted. <br />�iTTT��If�,� : , r •.- a �� :.�i.- 9 - !, : : - .. <br />Coun noted. <br />Commcilmember Schlueter inquired as to a resident's rouse <br />of action when these types of vehicles are trespassing. <br />Chief Auspos stated that the resident should register a <br />complaint with the Police Department and be willing to <br />testify, if necessary, against the person doing the illegal <br />riding. Illegal riding would be trespassing onto personal <br />property or public road ditches and right-of-way. <br />Council took no action and the request for extension was <br />thereby not granted. <br />Motion by Councilmanber Cox and seconded by Councilmember <br />Sorteberg to appoint Mr. Ray Shumway to serve on the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission for a term of to expire <br />on December 31, 1985 and to send a letter of thanks to Dr. <br />Duane Rennen for his time with the Commission. <br />Notion carried.
