Councilmember introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br />RESCLUTION i85- <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED FOR THE SALE OF THE 1982 <br />FORD LTD -S WHICH HAS BEEN DECLARED SURPLUS PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />sale of the 1982 Ford LTD -S which has been declared surplus <br />property, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to <br />law, and the following bids were received complying with the <br />advertisement: <br />Name <br />Amount of Bid <br />Broadway Tire Mart $1,400.00 <br />Mr. Steve Rapp $ 778.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Broadway Tire Mart had the <br />highest bid in the amount of $1,400.00. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKN COUNTY, STATE OF MIIIINESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council accepts the bid from Broadway <br />Tire Mart in the amount of $1,400.00. <br />2) That the City Administrator /Clerk is hereby <br />authorized and directed to inform those who bid on the Council <br />action. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of August, 1985. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Administrator /Clerk <br />
