PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />BOARD OF AWUODIW <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOM CXWN <br />STATE OF KINNESOTA <br />A Board of Adjustment was conducted on Tuesday, July 23, 1985 at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Oenter, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Councilmember Jean Schlueter, Chairperson <br />Mayor Gary Heitman <br />Oouncilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Gary Reiman <br />i Also Present: City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />Director of Technical Services Clayton Berg <br />t City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br />' Motion by Mayor Heitman and seconded by Oouncilmmftr Sorteberg to authorize <br />Mr. Peter Nieder to reapply for a variance to construct an accessory building <br />at his residence at 16203 Jaspar Street NW as provided for by City Code and not <br />charge him the $90.00 required by City Code, as the previous Board of <br />Adjustment action in 1983 was inomplete because findings of fact were not <br />adopted. <br />' Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Schlueter, Mayor Heitman, <br />Oouncilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and Reiman. Voting No: None. <br />' Case #1: RH=est For Variance From Side--Yard Setback Case Of M L-6 <br />Develoy = t•. <br />Mayor Heitman requested Mr. McLaughlin to comment on the eoonomic and aesthetic <br />aspects of the development. <br />Mr. Leonard McLaughlin stated that after much discussion, ERR ruled that Oxbow <br />is not contiguous with River's Bend and the density was reduced from 54 units <br />to 26 units. Mr. McLaughlin stated that at this time he does not know whether <br />the probject will be built because of the fact that the developers do not know <br />whether or not the project can support the cost of sewer and water to that <br />location. <br />' Mr. Dennis Miller referred to the aesthetic aspect and stated that it is <br />important that the building be placed within the setback zone because it <br />July 23, 1985 <br />' Page 1 of 7 <br />
