The data for each distribution may be measured <br />or be est1mated by a growth factor process, or by synthetic <br />modell1ng . <br /> <br />TRIP END: Either a trip origin or a trip desUnation. <br /> <br />TRIP GENERATION: A general term describing the analysis and appl1cation of the <br />relationships which exists between the tripmakers, the urban <br />area, and the trip making.
