Hickman should apply for a retro-active <br />variance to set back requirements and noted that a building used for retail <br />operations is required to have full frost footings. <br /> <br />Hs. Norris stated that City Attorney Goodrich stated that a retro-active <br />variance is not within the scope of possibilities. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson inquired if the Planning Commission will be given the <br />opportunity to review Hr. Hickman's plans to provide adequate parking and use <br />of the new structure. <br /> <br />Hs. Norris stated that in the City Attorney's op~n~on, if the Building <br />Inspector has no problem with the building being used for retail operations and <br />feels adequate parking is provided, then the Planning Commission should have no <br />problem with it. <br /> <br />The Commission directed that Hs. Norris request the City Attorney's presence at <br />the joint IDC/Planning and Zoning meeting scheduled for Hay 13 to discuss the <br />issue of Plants and Things and appropriate action. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Hotion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adjourn the <br />regular Planning and Zoning meeting. <br /> <br />Hotion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Zimmerman, <br />Deemer, Hendriksen, Howell and LaDue. Voting No: None.
