8. 4. <br /> CC Regular Session <br /> Meeting Date: 11/26/2024 <br /> Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Not Applicable <br /> Title: <br /> Adopt Ordinance#24-18 Amending Chapter 58 Utilities Regarding the Declaration of a Critical Water Deficiency <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> At certain times of drought or other emergencies, like a larger structure fire,water usage restrictions may be <br /> applied against properties to ensure sufficient levels of water are available to users. This ordinance would provide <br /> an exemption from the watering bans issued during a water emergency for the purpose of watering food or <br /> medicinal garden plants. This ordinance was introduced on November 12, 2024.
