This leave shall be deducted from EMPLOYEES the <br /> earned sick and safe accrual. <br /> If the need for funeral leave does not meet either the EMPLOYERS funeral leave <br /> policy or state statute for earned sick and safe time,EMPLOYEES may request <br /> vacation or compensatory time off as the EMPLOYEE may_ choose and have <br /> available. <br /> ARTICLE SIXTEEN(16) INJURY ON DUTY(IOD) <br /> 16.1 EMPLOYEES injured during the performance of their duties for the EMPLOYER and <br /> thereby rendered unable to work for the EMPLOYER will be paid the difference between <br /> the EMPLOYEES'S regular pay and Worker's Compensation insurance payments for a <br /> period not to exceed ninety (90) working days per injury, not charged to the <br /> EMPLOYEES'S vacation,sick leave or other accumulated paid benefits,after a three(3) <br /> working day initial waiting period per injury. The three (3)working day waiting period <br /> shall be charged to the EMPLOYEES'S sick leave account less Worker's Compensation <br /> insurance payments.
