<br />lOA <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 06-07-237 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RAMSEY EXPRESS COMMUTER COACH <br />" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 3, 2006 the NCDA Board will approve the Contract for <br />Technical Services for Northstar Commuter Coach Demonstration Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contract for Technical Services for Northstar Commuter Coach <br />Demonstration Project includes an Add-on Option for the Ramsey Coach Service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Northstar Commuter Coach Demonstration Project Service commences <br />on October 1,2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Coach Service will have a delayed start, estimat~d.for <br />November or December, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is a required expense of $5,712.30 to reserve the two (2) buses for <br />Ramsey Coach Service for the delayed start. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey agrees that this expense is the responsibility of the City and not <br />the NCDA. <br /> <br />2) That the City of Ramsey agrees to pay the expense of $5,712.30 for the months of <br />October and November, 2006, to reserve two (2) buses for the Ramsey Coach service. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br />
