<br />The consensus of the Council was to direct staff to inform Mr. Frederick that the City cannot <br />offer an alternative site from Diamonds for the 4th of July event this year. The City can offer the <br />Police and Fire staff that has assisted in the past. The. City cannot providing funding assistance, <br />but would be wiHtng to assist in trying to raise contributions for the event. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro .Tem Elvig suggested the City make an announcement to the community requesting <br />contributions for the event. <br /> <br />Update regarding Application for Monopole Tower (Tabled from April 25, 2006 Regular <br />Council Meeting) <br /> <br />City Administrator N orman informed the Council staff has' been working with the <br />communication company regarding the monopole tower application that was tabled at the last <br />Council meeting.
