<br />Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-05-151 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0764 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF A SUBDIVISION PROPOSED TO BE <br />NAMED WILD OAKS OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ron Tallman, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied <br />for preliminary plat approval of Wild Oaks of Ramsey addition on the following described <br />property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />The west half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 8, <br />Township 32, Range 25, According to the U.S. Government Survey, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br />The North 447.60 feet of the east 526.00 feet, as measured along the east and <br />north lines, respectively, of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of <br />Section 8, Township 32, Range 25, According to the U.S. Government Survey, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br />That part of the east 542.00 feet, as measured parallel with the north line of said <br />northeast quarter of the northwest quarter, lying south of the north 446.60 feet, as <br />measured along the east line of said northeast quarter of the northwest quarter, <br />Section 8, Township 32, Range 25, According to the U.S. Government Survey <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />1. That Section 9.20.11 (R -1 Residential District) of the City Code requires all subdivisions <br />in the Rural Developing area to be developed as a cluster subdivision. <br /> <br />2. That on January 6, 2006, the City received the application for preliminary plat of Wild <br />Oaks of Ramsey consisting of approximately 36 acres to be developed with 13 lots and <br />access to these lots is proposed by a 1,100 foot cul-de-sac that exceeds the 600 foot <br />maximum length established by City Code. <br /> <br />3. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on February 2, 2006, continued to May 4, 2006 and said public hearing was <br />properly advertised, and the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by <br />reference. <br />
