Ci~ AihiniRt:rAMr - Mr. Goodricb stated that Mr. Dwid Hartley, the new City Acinin1strator has accepted the City's contract for employment and will be coming on board February 1, 1986. Mr. Qx)ddcb stated that the contract approved by Council on December 17, 1985 stated Mr. Hartley would receive $140/month for health insurance. Mr. Q)odricb inquired if Council intended the health insurance benefit to renain at $140/month for the 3 year term of the contract or should Mr. Bartley's health insurance be CXI1Imensurate with other Adninistrative Staff will be receiving during that 3 year period. Council.Jne!rber Reimann stated that the Personnel Callnittee is reocmnending that Mr. Bartley's health insurance benefits be amoensurate with that of other Aaninistrative Staff. Council consensus was to accept the rE!OOllu..endation of the Personnel Canmittee regarding Mr. Hartley's bealth insurance benefits. Mr. Q)odricb stated that the Personnel Qmni ttee has requested that language be added to the employment agreement that will require the City Adninistrator to set goals by whicb bis employment performance can be judged. tbtion by Councilmember Cox and seoonded by Mayor Hei man to approve the Employment agreenent with Mr. David Hartley with the following amenchents and to authorize the Mayor to sign the same on behalf of the Ci ty of Ramsey: 1. Add the following language: '~e plrties agree that the Employer will establish goals in order to judge Employee's employment perfocnance.
