Counc ilmember adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION #88- RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR CERTAIN PARK IMPROVEMENTS IN RIVER'S BEND PARK WHEREAS. Resolution #87-253 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on October 27. 1987 approved a final application to be submitted to the State of Minnesota. Department of Trade and Economic Development. Outdoor Recreation Grants Section. for a grant from the Bonded Minnesota Laws 1987. Chapter 400. Section 8. subdivision 2(a) for funds to be used in the development of athletic and recreational facilities in River's Bend Park; and WHEREAS. on January 15. 1988. the City received notification from the State of Minnesota. Department of Trade and Economic Development. of approval of the City's application for Fiscal Year 1988 Outdoor Recreation Grant funds in the amount of $40.000.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That such park improvements as outlined in the City's application as approved by the State of Minnesota. Department of Trade and Economic Development, are hereby ordered. 2. That Mr. Merland Otto of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as tbe project manager for these improvements. He shall prepare plans and specifications for tbe making of these improvements. Tbe motion for tbe adoption of tbe foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor tbereof: and tbe following voted against tbe same: and tbe following abstained: and tbe following were absent: wbereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by tbe Ramsey City Council tbis tbe day of , 1988.
