Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #88- RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CENTRAL PARK WARMING HOUSE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 88-16 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the central Park Warming House (Project 88-16) bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Bidder Amount of Bid Cottonwood Construction Karlen Construction Arbuckle Construction Mico Contractors Tri-county Builders $112,826.00 $112,977.30 $113,201.50 $122,977.50 $124,408.50 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Cottonwood Construction of Maple Grove is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Cottonwood Construction of Maple Grove in the name of the City of Ramsey for the Central Park Warming House Project according to the plans and specifi- cations therefore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of June, 1989.
