Councilmember for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION #87-___ RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE 1988 SEALCOATING IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS 88-2,3,4,5,6,7&8 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1988 Sealcoating Projects (projects 88-2, 88-3, 88-4, 88-5, 88-6, 88-7, 88- 8) bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Bidder Amount of Bid AND WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder. of is NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with of in the name of the City of Ramsey for the 1987 Sealcoating Projects according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. 2) The award of the project shall be contingent on Mn/DOT approval of the plans for Variolite Street and 155th Avenue and payment of the unescrowed amount in River's Bend by the developers. 3) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and next lowest'bidder shall be retained un~il a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey city council this the 28th day or June, 1988. itS!
