Councilnenber adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESCLtrrION t88-__ ~, Anoka County is responsible for the allocation and timely expenditure of Corrununity Developnent Block Grant (CDBG) funds fran the u.s. Department of Housing and Urban DevelOfInenti and v~~, the City of Ramsey receives an annual allocation of CDBG funds fran Anoka County; and WEEREA$, the City of Ramsey applied to Anoka County and received approval fran the County to use Fiscal Year 1987 CDBG funds for economic developnent activities; and ~~, the City of Ramsey applied to Anoka County and received approval from the County to use Fiscal Year 1988 CDBG funds for public service activities; and WHEREAS, the regulations for CDBG funds limit the amount of funds that can be used each year fo public service activities. N:W 'IHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TrlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANa<A CDUNI'Y, STATE OF MINNESorA, as follows: 1. That $10,000.00 of Ramsey's Fiscal Year 1987 allocation of CDBG funds be transferred for use for public service activities. 2. 'lliat $10,000.00 of Ramsey's Fiscal Year 1988 allocation of CDBG funds be transferred to use for economic development activities. 3. That a coR! of this resolution be forwarded to the Anoka County JI.dministrator and Corronunity Developnent Manager.
