councilmember for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION #88- RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 87-18 FRONT ST., 138TH AVENUE, TUNGSTEN ST., SUNFISH LAKE BLVD. & FELDSPAR) WHEREAS, a resolution of the City council of the City of Ramsey adopted the 9th day of February, 1988, authorized the City Engineer to prepare a report for Improvement Project 87-18. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared a feasibility study for storm sewer and improvements to the following streets: a) Tungsten st. N.W. between T.H. No. 10 & 169 and Front st. N.W. b) Front Street and 138th Avenue between Tungsten Street N.W. and Feldspar Street N.W. c) Feldspar st. N.W. between 138th Ave. N.W. and T.H. No. 10 & 169. d) Sunfish Lake Blvd. between Front st. & T.H. 10 & 169. WHEREAS, the above described streets are located on the City's Municipal State Aid Street (MSAS) system, and WHEREAS, the city code states that street improvements to MSA streets are to be paid for by MSA funds and special assessments. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted the 9th day of February, 1988. 2) That Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmemberand upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City council this the 28th day of June, 1988. ~
