Ms. Heinen noted that Atlas would <br />be burning cattle and human ranains and asked for an explanation of a term <br />found in Atlas' proposal - abattoirs. Ms. Heinen stated that just listing <br />the products legitimate to burn may not get the attention of most people <br />but the residents of Hunter's Hill are paying attention. Burning food <br />wastes "..ill release a lot of poisons into the air that F€ople will breathe <br />24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the whole year through, with the amounts <br />increasing all the time. <br /> <br />t~~ <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by CoImnissioner Terry to aajourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Howell noted that at the June 7 publ ic <br />hearing, several questions were directed to MPCAi those guestions have not <br />been transcribed so that they may be answe red i the hearing should adjourn <br />vdth the exception that the written ansv,'ers to those guestions will be <br />accepted. Cormnissioner Hendriksen noted that adjourning the public hearing <br />does not preclude soliciting inforrnationfran other sources. Mr. Goodr ich <br />stated that any additional information the Commission receives franPCA and <br />engineers has to be afforded the opportunity to be cross examined by the <br />applicant and any other interested persons. <br /> <br />Motion carried. voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Terry, <br />Hendriksen and Bolm. Voting No: Commissioner Howell.
