That Atlas Incinerators, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Atlas", <br />has properly applied for a conditional use permit to construct and <br />operate contract burn incinerators in their research facility in the <br />1-1 Industrial District. <br /> <br />2. That Atlas appeared before the Ramsey Planning and Zoning <br />Commission for a public hearing pursuant to Section l70.0l3D of the <br />Ramsey City Code on June 7, 1988 and on June 16, 1988 and that said <br />public hearing was properly advertised. Notice of said public hearing <br />was published in the City's legal newspsper, Anoka County Union, on May <br />27,1988 and mailed notices of the public hearing were sent at least <br />ten days prior to the public hearing to property owners \dthin 350 feet <br />of the outer boundaries of the property in question. <br /> <br />3. That minutes of the public hearing are attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein as if fully set forth at this point. <br /> <br />4. That the property for ",'hich Atlas seeks the conditional use permit <br />consists of approximately 16.67 acres and is legally described as <br />fo11CMs: <br /> <br />The Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, Section 27, <br />Township 32, Range 25. Excepting therefrom the four <br />fOllowing described tracts: <br />A. The East 431.00 feet thereof, as measured at right <br />angles. <br />B. All that part thereof platted as GATEWAY NORTH <br />rnooSTRIAL PJ....Rl\ PLAT 2. <br />C. All that part thereof platted as ANOKA COUNTY HIGHV1AY <br />RIGHI'-OF-vmY PLAT NO.8. <br />D. All that part thereof platted as ANOKA COUNTY HIGHV1AY <br />RIGHI'-OF-~';AY PLAT NO.1. <br />AND <br />OJ.tlot A of the duly recorded plat of GATEV~AY NORTH INDUSTRIp.L <br />PARK PLAT 3. <br />All in Moka County, ~.innesota. <br /> <br />(hereinafter referred to as "subject property") . <br /> <br />5. That at the public hearing Atlas maDe a presentation describing its <br />proposed project which Atlas stated is to consist of its corporate <br />headquarters, a manufacturing facility and reseach lab including a <br />contract burn facility on the subject property. <br /> <br />6.
