Stated opposition to cul -de -sacs being extended further and further into the area each year. Tom Rachel - Stated e „- rerybody in the area should have been notified of the hearing because of the through traffic the plat proposes. Mark Clarey - 16321 Wolfram - Inquired why it is that residents need a permit to build a storage shed and Mr. Rambosek can start preparation of land before he has proper permits and what will stop situations like that in the future. Lee Olson - 16421 Uranium - Stated that there are 56 children in Menkveld's Country Park and he is concerned with the impact increased traffic will have on their safety. Ron Hetland'- 6371 lb4th Lane - Stated that all traffic into Menkveld's Country Park passes by his home and all future traffic resulting from development will also have to pass by his home and another access to the area would be an improvement. Stated that the Park Commission is going to research the legall'Lty of moving airt in or out of the County drainage ditch along the northern boundary of Schulte's property. Commissioner Shumway confirmed that the Park Commission will be looking into the matter further because that board has requested dedication of land along that ditch for a multi -use trail system in Ramsey. Bob Wolverton - 6291 163rd Lane - Stated that it doesn't make sense to extend the roads into Menkveld's Country Park because they would just end there; nobody wants a main thoroughfare passing by their property. Noted that there is a 48” culvert on the Rambosek property and inquired it Mr. Rambosek is planning to install it in the County drainage ditch. Dave Schulte - 546 127th Avenue- Stated that the County is requiring the installation of the 48" culvert for drainage. Because of limited access to the area (1) , the lots in Voltin's Oak Hill Estates were held to a 5 acre minimum size and development of Lot 4 was prohibited until a southern access to the plat was provided. Mr. Stroebel - 16431 Wolfram - Stated the Anoka County Sheriff's Department experience lower crime rates. that he has been told by members of that subaivisions with one access Dave Steinhauser - 6320 163rd Lane - Inquired as to the Planning Commission's opinion of Rambosek's proposed plat. Chairman Zimmerman replied that it is the Commission's responsibility to form a recommandation only after taking public comments. The Commission will form it's recommendation to Council based on public comments and the engineer's report.
