Stated opposition to cul -de -sacs being extended further and <br />further into the area each year. <br />Tom Rachel - Stated e „- rerybody in the area should have been notified of the <br />hearing because of the through traffic the plat proposes. <br />Mark Clarey - 16321 Wolfram - Inquired why it is that residents need a <br />permit to build a storage shed and Mr. Rambosek can start preparation of <br />land before he has proper permits and what will stop situations like that <br />in the future. <br />Lee Olson - 16421 Uranium - Stated that there are 56 children in Menkveld's <br />Country Park and he is concerned with the impact increased traffic will <br />have on their safety. <br />Ron Hetland'- 6371 lb4th Lane - Stated that all traffic into Menkveld's <br />Country Park passes by his home and all future traffic resulting from <br />development will also have to pass by his home and another access to the <br />area would be an improvement. Stated that the Park Commission is going to <br />research the legall'Lty of moving airt in or out of the County drainage <br />ditch along the northern boundary of Schulte's property. <br />Commissioner Shumway confirmed that the Park Commission will be looking <br />into the matter further because that board has requested dedication of land <br />along that ditch for a multi -use trail system in Ramsey. <br />Bob Wolverton - 6291 163rd Lane - Stated that it doesn't make sense to <br />extend the roads into Menkveld's Country Park because they would just end <br />there; nobody wants a main thoroughfare passing by their property. Noted <br />that there is a 48” culvert on the Rambosek property and inquired it Mr. <br />Rambosek is planning to install it in the County drainage ditch. <br />Dave Schulte - 546 127th Avenue- Stated that the County is requiring the <br />installation of the 48" culvert for drainage. Because of limited access to <br />the area (1) , the lots in Voltin's Oak Hill Estates were held to a 5 acre <br />minimum size and development of Lot 4 was prohibited until a southern <br />access to the plat was provided. <br />Mr. Stroebel - 16431 Wolfram - Stated <br />the Anoka County Sheriff's Department <br />experience lower crime rates. <br />that he has been told by members of <br />that subaivisions with one access <br />Dave Steinhauser - 6320 163rd Lane - Inquired as to the Planning <br />Commission's opinion of Rambosek's proposed plat. <br />Chairman Zimmerman replied that it is the Commission's responsibility to <br />form a recommandation only after taking public comments. The Commission <br />will form it's recommendation to Council based on public comments and the <br />engineer's report.
