Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of the request for <br />a six month period. <br />Mr. Hartley read a letter f ram Robert Brown of Production Design Products, <br />Inc. dated February 2, 1988 in which opposition to the request was <br />expressed. <br />Council indicated reluctance to approve a permit that would resolve one <br />mess while creating another one. <br />Councilmember Cox noted that CDBG funds have already been funneled via the <br />Economic Development Company Revolving Loan Fund into dismantling and <br />removing old buses from 14050 Basalt. <br />Mr. Goodrich noted that the City has legal rights to request that the buses <br />be removed from 6106 Hwy. #10 <br />Motion by Councilmember Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson to adopt Findings of Fact 0194, amended as follows, regarding Mr. <br />Roger Suter's request for a conditional use permit: (Please refer to <br />findings of fact tile for Findings of Fact 0194.) <br />Add Item #24 to indicate that the City recently expended CDBG funds <br />to remove debris from 14050 Basalt Street N.W. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />deny Mr. Roger Suter's request for a conditional use permit. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson <br />directing City Staff to pursue permission.to dismantle the buses at their <br />location on 6106 Hwgy. #10 N.W. or appropriate legal action to have the <br />buses removed from the property. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reii Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br />Case 06: Wiest For A,gAearance To Discuss Road Right-Of-Way.- Case Of <br />Mr. David Schulte: <br />Yz. Norris reported that Mr. Schulte is having difficult obtaining property <br />from Mr. Bill Weiss to construct a street to link the southern portion of <br />Lot 4, Block 1, Voltin's Oak Hill Estates with the property adjacent to <br />County Road No. 5. <br />Mr. Schulte and Mr. Weiss were present. <br />City Council /February 24, 1988 <br />Page 8of13 <br />
