Council advised that Mr. Schulte's proposed subdivision of property along <br />Cty. Rd. #5, south of Voltin's Oak Hill Estates, include connecting Xenon <br />Street with the 160th Lane stub to access the plat. <br />City Attorney presented two proposed ordinances to be considered for <br />introduction by Council; one would increase the number of oft -sale liquor <br />licenses to 3 and the other would authorize an unlimited number of oft -sale <br />liquor licenses in Ramsey. <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />introduce Ordinance #88-X increasing the number of oft -sale liquor licenses <br />in Ramsey to three (3). <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox noted that when this ordinance comes <br />back to Council for adoption, there should be information available <br />regarding the eligibility and time frame for application and issuance of an <br />off -sale liquor license. Bob Muller was present and requested information <br />regarding any restrictions on the number of oft -sale licenses one <br />individual or corporation may hold. Mr. Goodrich replied that he believes <br />an individual or company is restricted to one off -sale and one on -sale <br />license; he will research it further. <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmambers Sortebe rg, Cox <br />and Pearson. Voting No: Councilmamber DeLuca. <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adopt <br />Resolutions #88 -33, #88 -34, #88 -35, #Bu -36, #88 -3/ receiving feasibility <br />reports and calling for public hearings for Sealcoating Improvement <br />Projects #88 -4, #88 -5, #88-6, #88 -7, #88 -8. (Please refer to resolution <br />file for Resolutions #88 -33 - #88 -37). <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br />Case #9: Status Of Proposed Water Tower: <br />City Engineer Raatikka requested input from Council regarding the type of <br />water tower to bid and what lettering should be painted on the tower. <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca directing <br />the City Engineer to finalize water tower plans for bidaing a torospherical <br />type and a waterspheroid stype water tower with lettering to consist of <br />'City of Ramsey' on both sides of the tower. <br />City Council /February 24, 1988 <br />Page 9 of D <br />All <br />
