PROPOSED FINDI~S OF FAcr ATLAS INCINERATORS, INC. 1. That Atlas Incinerators, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied for a conditional use permit to construct and operate contract burn incinerators in their research facility in the I-I Industrial District. 2. That the Applicant aJ?peared before the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Corrmission for a pub11c hearing pursuant to Section l70.0l3D of the Ramsey City Code on June 7, 1988 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. 3. That the subject property is legally described as follavs: The Southeast. Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, Section 27, Township 12, Range 25. Excepting therefrom the four follaving described tracts: 1. The part of the East 431.00 feet thereof, as measured at right angles. 2. All that part thereof platted as GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL PARK PLAT 2. 3. All that part thereof platted as ANOKA COUNTY HIGHWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY PLAT NO.8. 4. All that part thereof platted as ANOKA COUNTY HIGHWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY PLAT NO.1. Together with Outlot A of the duly recorded plat of GATEWAY NOR'lH INCUSI'RIAL PARK PLAT 2. All in Moka County, Minnesota. 4. That the subject property is located in the I-I Industrial District, is in the Urban area and is approximately 16 acres in size. 5. That the Applicant is proposing to construct and operate its corporate headquarters, a manufacturing facility and research facility on the subject property. 6. That the research facility will include two incinerators for contract burning. 7. That contract burning is not permitted use in the I-I Industrial District. 8. That the adjacent property to the east, north, west and south is zoned I-I Industr ial. 9. That the adjacent property to the northeast is zoned R-lR Rural Fesidential. 8)
