<br />City of Dakdale <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />'; <br /> <br />Article 3 <br />Administration <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />(b) No building which has been damaged by fire, explosion, act of God or <br />the public enemy to the extent of more than fifty percent of its <br />value shall be restored except in conformity with the regulations of <br />this Ordinance. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(c) In the event that a non-conforming use of any building is discon- <br />tinued or its normal operation stopped for a period of one year, the <br />use of the same shall thereafter conform to the regulations of the <br />District in which it is located. <br /> <br />(d) When any lawful non-conforming use has been changed to a conforming <br />use, it shall not thereafter be changed to any non-conforming use. <br /> <br />Sec. 25-18. Interpretation of the Zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />In interpreting and applying the provision of this Ordinance, the provi- <br />sions shall be held to be the minimum requirements for the prollOtion of the <br />public safety, health, convenience, comfort, prosperity and general welfare. <br />It is not the intention of this Ordinance to interfere with or abrogate or <br />annul any easement, covenant or other agreement between parties, provided, <br />however, that where this Ordinance imposes a greater restriction upon the <br />use of a building or premises or upon height of,building, or requires <br />larger open spaces than are imposed or required by 'O~);Ui!r ordinances, rules, <br />regulations or permits, or by easements, covenants or agreements, the pro- <br />visions of this Ordinance shall govern. <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />2h <br />
