A request for a building permit for the club house has been <br />received but the required $71,000 bond to assure developnent of roads and <br />drainage has not been received. Cit.v fik:!wRl~t.~r S"at:n~; <br /> <br />Mr. Q)odric:b stated that he and Ms. Frolik met with Canp:1ign Success, Inc. on <br />January 10, 1986. ~e City's agreement with CSI was for one pJblication of the <br />TIi-City Newsletter only and that has been axnpleted. Mr. Q)odridl stated that <br />CSI does not wish to oontinue to publish the Newsletter in it's present format; <br />it has beaxne evident that selling ad S);8ce in the newsletter is not viable <br />enou~ to cover the cost of the newsletter; it was recxmnended that the Ci ly <br />proceed wi th a newsletter subsidized by Ci ty funds. It was also reported that <br />4th class mailing is not getting to all residents adequately and it was <br />recxmnended that future newsletters be delivered 1st class. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik reported that she contacted QUlIlplin and their monthly newsletter <br />costs about $l,OOO/month for printing which is taken fran their City's general <br />fWld. Mr. Q>odrich added that with printing, mailing and Ms. Frolik's time, <br />the City would be looking at about $20,000/year for a monthly newsletter. <br /> <br />Mr. Q)odridl stated that Ms. Susan Beale was at the January 10 meeting and <br />related that District III Callnuni ty Education would most likely help sUWQrt <br />January 14, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 13 of 22 <br />
