<br />Public Hearing <br />CONSIDER AMENDMENTS TO 9.20 (ZONING DISTRICTS) <br />OF THE ZONING CHAPTER OF CITY CODE: . <br />CASE OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />By: Breanne Daines, AssoCiate Planner <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />CASE # 7 <br /> <br />In 2001, the City of Ramsey adopted an updated comprehensive plan that re-organized the zoning <br />and land use districts. Chapter 9 was updated in 2002 to reflect these changes. However, the <br />zoning district definitions (Section 9.20) were never revised, and still contain definitions for <br />outdated development areas and zoning districts (R-IR, R-IU, Industrial, etc). This code <br />amendment would change the definitions section to reflect the zoning districts that currently exist <br />in City Code and on the Official Zoning Map. The enclosed edited excerpt of Sectltin 9.20 reflects <br />the proposed changes. New definitions are noted with an undedine, and old definitions proposed <br />for deletion are noted with strike-through. <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />In accordance with State Statute, a public hearing notice was published in the Anoka County <br />Union. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Provide direction to staff on any changes to the proposed ordinance <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council introduce an ordinance to revise Chapter 9.20 of the <br />City's Zoning Code to update the zoning district definitions. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />Assistant Community Development Director <br /> <br />PC: 8/3/06 <br /> <br />73 <br />
