No. Ticket No. Computer No.: T- STATE OF MINNESOTA vs. Defendant I I DATE OF BIRTH Complaint I Number : ..OltCOUItT USE ONLY The Complainant, being duly sworn, makes complaint to the above-named Court and states that there is probable cause to believe that the Defendant committed the following offense and that the following facts establish Probable Cause. The Complainant is Ann L. Norris, Community Development Director with the City of Ramsey. That your Complainant states and alleges that on or about February 12, 1988 and continuing thereafter, your Complainant has observed on property owned and controlled by Defendant, Timothy Doyle, a commercial sign advertising a restaurant along eastbound Highway 10 at 6106 Highway 10 NW in the City of Ramsey, ~noka County, Minnesota. That said sign was constructed under the control of and ownership of the Defendant, Timothy Doyle. That on said property is in already existing com- mercial sign and the City of Ramsey allows no more than one commercial sign on property with a single street frontage. That the newly constructed sign is a free standing sign with. a total square footage of 145 square feet. That Ramsey City Ordinance clearly defines that no sign in a commercial district shall be larger than 100 square feet. . See Attachment The above facts constitute the basis for believing that the above-named Defendant, on the 12th day of . February , 1988 , at the City of Ramsey, Minnesota in the above-named county committed the following described offense: Charge: Unlawful Construction of Commercial Sign Statute/Ord. No.: Ramsey City Ordinance 170.055C Maximum Sentence: 90 days, $700 fine or both OFFENSE DESCR IPTION: That on or about February 12, 1988, and continuing thereafter, the Defendant, Timothy Doyle, has constructed and allowed to be displayed a commercial sign on property located at 6106 Highway 10 NW in the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota, which exceeds the See Attachment THEREFORE, Complainant requests that said Defendant, subject to bailor conditions of release be: (1) arr-ested or that other lawful steps be taken to obtain Defendant's appearance in Court; or (2) detained, if already in custody, pending further proceedings; and that said Defendant otherwise be dealt with according to law.
