<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />~ OKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The lamsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 22, 1986 <br />at the lamsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. B.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Gary Heitman <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich (Arrived 8:15) <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br />Finance Officer Noel Graczyk <br />Reporter Kathy Cassidy <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman called the regular Council meeting to order at 7 :38 p.m. and led <br />in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUt <br /> <br />Gordon Crandall - Stated he would like to see some improvements made in the <br />maintenance of Trott Brook Cemetery; would like to see it mowed for Hemorial <br />Day. The citizens should be made aware of what City intends to do about <br />cemeteries. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox replied that there is a Cemetery Committee studying the <br />cemetery issues at the present time. There is a proposal for an additional <br />cemetery on Council's agenda and existing cemeteries will be discussed at the <br />same time. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman stated that the cemetery issue can be addressed in the Ramsey <br />Resident Newsletter. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to approve <br />the agenda and addendum to the agenda with the following addition: <br /> <br />Case #25: Consideration Of Gambling License Application; Case Of <br />Pheasants Forever (Anoka Chapter) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br />April 22, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 4 of 14 <br />
