Voting No: None. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />The Commission noted the following: <br /> <br />1) Regular City Council meeting minutes dated February 25. 1986. <br /> <br />2) Special City Council meeting minutes dated Karch 6, 1986. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Reauest For Conditional Use Permit To Operate Automobile <br />Sales And Repair Business In I-I. Industrial District; Case <br />Of Mr. Harvey Hoover: <br /> <br />Mrs. Hoover was present. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shumway stated that he and Commissioner Zimmerman visited the site <br />and the number of cars proposed to be on the lot for sale seems to be out of <br />proportion in comparison to site size; suggest that a maximum of 50 cars for <br />display be allowed; overall appearance of the site has improved since the <br />Hoover's began leasing it. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson noted that the site is situated adjacent to a Hwy. #10 right <br />turn lane and is concerned with people stopping in that lane to look at cars <br />for sale and causing traffic hazards. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to adopt the <br />findings of fact relating to Mr. Hoover's request for a conditional use permit <br />to operate an automobile sales and repair business in the I-I Industrial <br />District. <br /> <br />April 1, 1986 <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Page 2 of 8 <br />
