Voting No: 'one. <br /> <br />Commission proceeded to review the proposed conditional u.e permit agreement. <br /> <br />Tbe Commission amended the proposed conditional use permit agreement in the <br />following ways: <br /> <br />1. Item 13 - Should read as follows: 'There .hall be no more than 60 <br />automobiles for sale or repair at anyone tise on the site.' <br /> <br />2. Item 14 - Should read as follows: 'The applicant shall provide for <br />a total of 10 non-sale vehicle parking spaces.' <br /> <br />3. Item 16 - Should read as follows: 'The applicant shall surface the <br />the site driveway and customer parking area by October 1,1987.' <br /> <br />4. Add Item 110 to read as follows; 'There sball be no parking of <br />vehicles between the east property line and the west driveway exit <br />for site line purposes.' <br /> <br />5. Add Item 111 to read as follows: 'That signs be posted specifying <br />"No Stopping or Parking Allowed" along Bwy. 110 right-of-way; that <br />the owner should require customers to park .ithin tbe property site.' <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to recommend <br />City Council approve Mr. Hoover's request for a conditional use permit to <br />operate an automobile sales and repair business in the I-I Industrial District <br />contingent upon the applicant entering into the conditional use permit <br />agreement, as amended, with the City. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes; Chairman Peterson, Comaissioners Shumway, Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, Howell, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting Bo: Rone. <br /> <br />Commission directed City Staff to check whether or not Anoka West Auto Sales is <br />operating in violation of their conditional use permit agreement. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request For Conditional Use Permit To Bold Sand Drai Races And <br />Mud Runst Case Of The Ramsey Lions Club: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to adopt <br />the findings of fact relating to the Ramsey Lions Club's request for a <br />conditional use permit to hold sand drag races and mud runs. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Shumway, Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, Hendriksen, LaDue and Howell. Voting Bo: Rone. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Commissioner Hendriksen stated that he noticed a fair share of general public <br />enthusiasm for the sand drags overflow onto City streets last year and <br />suggested that the presence of a uniformed officer would deter that kind of <br />behavior; the cost of the extra police coverage should be picked up by the <br />Ramsey Lions. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />April 1 J 1986 <br /> <br />Page 3 of 8 <br />
