Item 12 - Should read a. follow.: 'That the conditional u.e permit <br />.hall be granted for the day. of June 21 and 22, 1986 and Augu.t <br />16 and 17, 1986.' <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />2. Item 13 - Should read a. follows: 'That the prop08ed .and drag race. <br />and mud runs shall be operated within the hours of 10:00 a.m. to <br />5:00 p.m. only on those days specified in Condition 12 above.' <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Add Item 18 to read as follows: <br />authorities are notified of the <br />they will determine what safety <br />situation.' <br /> <br />'Appropriate public safety <br />sand drag races and aud runs and <br />precautions are appropriate for the <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />4. Item 16 - Should read as follows: 'The Applicant shall provide a <br />security deposit of $200 to the City to be used for any litter <br />removal and clean up of the site after the events.' <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to recommend <br />City Council approve of the Ramsey Lions Club's request for a conditional use <br />permit to hold sand drag races and mud runs, contingent upon the Lions entering <br />into a conditional use permit agreement, as amended, with the City. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Shumway, Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, LaDue, Hendriksen and Howell. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request For Conditional Use Permit To Operate Small Eniine Repair <br />Business From Homer Case Of Mr. Robert Cox: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Cox was present and stated that he wants the permit to begin bis business <br />in a part-time manner; if the business is a success he will move to a <br />commercial zone. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to adopt <br />the findings of fact relating to Mr. Robert Cox's request for a conditional use <br />permit to operate a small engine repair business from bis bome. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Cbairman Peterson, Commissioners Shumway, Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, Hendriksen, LaDue and Howell. Voting No: Rone. <br /> <br />The Commission amended tbe proposed conditional use permit agreement in the <br />following ways: <br /> <br />1. Item 12 - Should read as follows: 'One exterior sign measuring 2 <br />square feet sball be allowed. Any other exterior displays or signs <br />and exterior indication of the small engine repair business shall <br />not be permitted except as permitted in Section 170.05 of tbe City <br />Code.' <br /> <br />2.
