Community Development Director Background: Trott Brook Gospel Hall is requesting a conditional use permit to expand the existing church facility to accommodate the growth of the congregation. Churches are not permitted uses in the R-I Residential District. The church is proposing to put the new addition on the north end of the existing facility. The church is proposing to add on two stories, each consisting of approximately 3,000 square feet. Enclosed are the following items for your information: a) Application b) Site location map c) Public hearing notice d) Properties notified e) Proposed site plan f) Proposed findings of fact g) Proposed conditional use permit agreement Observations: As there have been no complaints regarding the existing facility and the proposed expansion would not be detrimental to the neighboring properties, Staff recommends that the Commission recommend approval of the request by Trott Brook Gospel Hall.
