Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. David Raymond of Nationwide Housing Corporation is requesting a conditional <br />use permit to construct a mini storage facility at 6615 Highway #10 NW in the <br />B-1 Business District. Mr. Raymond is proposing to construct six one-story <br />mini storage buildings and to pave all the driveways into and between the <br />buildings. Mr. Raymond is proposing to cover approximately 30% of the property <br />with buildings including the existing house on the site. The property is also <br />located within the Critical Rivers Corridor and Mr. Raymond's proposal includes <br />a request for a variance from impervious surface coverage. <br /> <br />Enclosed are the following items for your consideration: <br /> <br />a) Application <br />b) Site location map <br />c) Public hearing notice <br />d) Properties notified <br />e) Letter dated April 22, 1986 from Mr. David Raymond <br />f) Proposed site plan <br />g) Proposed findings of fact <br />h) Proposed conditional use permit agreement <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Mr. Raymond's site is within the clear zone easement for the alternative runway <br />for the proposed airport expansion. Clear zone designation would curtail <br />future development within that zone. At present. the alternative runway <br />alignment is pending FAA review and approval. The City anticipates receiving <br />notice of FAA's decision on the alternate runway by June 1.1986.
