Chairman Greenberg noted tbat tbe Star City process could take one year to complete, obtaining Council approval to hire additional per.onnel could take one year in itlelf. Cbairman Greenberg auggested tbat some of tbe IDC .embers be present at tbe July 22. 1986 Council ~eting supporting IDC's recommendation to pursue the Star City Program and appointing Ms. Rorris as project coordinator. The Commission proceeded to discuss the business incubator project and Ms. Rorris stated tbat the July 9. 1986 EDC motion to recommend continuing to pursue a business incubator project has been forwarded to Council. Mr. Bartley 8tated that ADoka EDC has gone through an evaluation process and establisbed a strategy to foster small business development; because of the common alley between Ramsey and ADoka, it might be vise for Ramsey to go about busines8 development vith a similar strategy. Tbe Commission directed Ms. Borris to make City Council aware that EDC recommends Council support of a business incubator project either on an individual basis or 8S a joint effort with Anoka.
