<br />. <br /> <br />. <br />. . <br /> <br />of well over 10%. <br /> <br />'j <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman stated that after talking with Mr. Stine on July 7. <br />it was his impression that Mr. Stine's opinions outlined in his letter of <br />July 5 had not changed. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that she also talked with John Stine on July 7 and his <br />op1n1on is that there is not sufficient hardship t~ justify a 1~3 foot <br />setback from the river, but if the Board feels there is a hardship. he does <br />not have a problem with granting the 103 foot setback. <br />with Commissioner Zimmerman's assessment of John Stine's opinion. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Hendr iksen to <br />amend Item 11 of the proposed variance to indicate that the structure will <br />not encroach on the Rum River by more than 110 feet. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Shumway, Commissioners Terry, <br />Howell. LaDue and Hendriksen. Voting No: Commissioner Zimmerman. Absent: <br />Commissioner Holm. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell to add Item 13 to the proposed variance to <br />indicate that the structure height will be limited to 24 feet on the river <br />side. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to <br />table action on Mr. Hanson's request in order to allow time to obtain <br />additional information from DNR; that the Board will reconvene to address <br />this case at the next special Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
